Job Summary
iF is looking for someone passionate about helping higher education institutions with their digital learning, advising, and developmental education to join our education practice.
The postsecondary education project lead will drive all aspects of our project work from creative problem solving and resource creation to project management to relationship management. A successful lead understands the challenges and needs of institution leaders, communicates and collaborates with partners and colleagues clearly and fluidly. They are able to set the vision for what resources in what form will best help institutions implement solutions in digital learning, advising, or developmental education. They are comfortable interacting with people at all levels of our partners’ and client’s organizations. Responsibilities and Duties
- Create the vision and strategy for how resources and learning experiences will help institutions advance in their advising, developmental education, or digital learning implementation
- Partner with clients, contractors, and other iFsters throughout a project's life cycle to define project goals and requirements and deliver on the vision
- Write and edit reports, presentations whitepapers, and website copy
- Work closely with visual/graphic and UX designers to craft engaging and impactful content in various formats (e.g., presentations, interactive elements, or printed materials)
- Investigate and distill large volumes of information on a given topic (e.g., “the internet of things” or “eGovernment technology”) into key insights and / or concise frameworks
- Drive significant work streams, over-communicating with iFsters and reporting to partners throughout
- Lead workshop design, creation, and facilitation
- Collaborate with leaders of various networks (such as the Every Learner Everywhere Network)
- Lead knowledge management and creation
- Draft agendas and run meetings with key partners and stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years working in postsecondary education
- 10-15 years career experience
- Experience leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders
- 3+ years of creating resources for a higher education audience (toolkits, guides, frameworks, reports, etc)
- Experience translating complex information into content that can be understood easily by multiple audiences
- Strong command of the spoken and written word
- Ability to think strategically and tackle problems from multiple perspectives
- Experience working at an equity-focused organization
- Strong work ethic and close attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity
- Strong proficiency in standard office tools such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- BA/BS or equivalent required
Salary and Benefits
iF offers a benefits package that includes domestic partner benefits, parental and adoption leave. This position is on-site in Seattle. We do not offer a relocation package.
The base salary for this role ranges from $90,000-$120,000 depending on relevant experience.
