Key Mission:
As Production Coordinator, provide proactive and on-going support to producers, instructors, guests, in-studio students and production crew during live broadcast and on location shoots.
Responsibilities:
Lead catering and craft services operations for Seattle studios including managing a clean and organized CreativeLive cafe; lead relationships and weekly budget with core craft services suppliers; bring fresh ideas to menu planning; ensure a consistently stocked kitchen; ensure trash and recycling are removed from studios and kitchen daily
Lead production-day meal preparation and staging including breakfast and snack craft table for production crew and guests
Provide critical support and coordination of production logistics in a fast-moving live production environment
Proactively lead key relationships with production suppliers and partners
As required, monitor production on IFB, assist line producer and technical production team for pre-production needs
Assist production team before, during, and after production with in-studio builds and tear-downs; run errands for supplies as required
Assist producers before, during and after productions with coordinating travel, transportation, participant releases and managing receipts
Serve as front-of-house lead for the Seattle production studios - welcoming 10-50 guests with a friendly, helpful and positive attitude
Be the "go to" assistant for facility projects as assigned by the manager of broadcast operations
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience as a production assistant, production coordinator, production intern, food service industry or equivalent experience
Must have a keen sense of logistics and ability to work well with others including producers, instructors and on-set personnel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Bring a solid understanding of catering including understanding of planning for meals which encompass a wide range of dietary restrictions
Ability to prioritize, maintain steady workflow during peak hours and cope with last-minute changes; a calm force who reacts with urgency
Ability to multi-task, proactively plan and troubleshoot on the fly
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and self-directed independence is required
Current food worker card for WA state
Valid driver's license
Ability to work early mornings and on the weekends, if necessary
