Expedia Group Retail Product and Tech Enablement team are looking for a motivated individual to support day-to-day business operations for a key portion of our organization. In this role, you will be supporting the rhythm of the business, collaborating, and working with the team to achieve key objectives. You’ll drive operational alignment with the Sr. Program Manager and key business partners while supporting some of the best teams in the company. What You’ll Do

  • We will manage day-to-day business operations for SVPs, facilitating operational alignment across the organization and leadership team, and working closely with leadership to understand the opportunities and challenges of the organization
  • We will oversee the communication plan and approach for the organization including management of all internal communication (newsletters, org-wide announcements)
  • We will facilitate processes to support effective financial management including headcount tracking and approvals, discretionary spend allocation and in partnership with Finance and hiring managers
  • We will be the liaisons between management and HR, Recruiting to support processes around talent management, goals and performance
  • We will operationalize and provide training on business processes with a focus on continuous improvement, efficiency, and operational excellence
  • We will provide general program management support for initiatives and special projects

 

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. 5+ years’ experience successfully handling processes /programs in a highly matrixed environment
  • High level of intellectual curiosity and leadership that drives sense of ownership, desire for continuous improvement and ability to work independently
  • Ability to build effective relationships and use work methods that facilitate strong partnerships with key internal business teams; with a special focus on building bridges with the diverse business groups that support the Expedia Group organization (e.g., other business operation areas, HR, Recruiting, Finance)
  • Outstanding influencing and change management skills, coupled with organizational awareness
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and achieve results effectively and timely in a complex environment working across a variety of partner
  • Strong process orientation with experience managing programs and/or projects and leading change from inception through delivery
  • Strong business insight, analytical and organizational skills with a high degree of attention to detail
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate level of knowledge of Excel
  • Experience working in a global company
