Unity is seeking a Localization Project Manager to increase the ranks of the Global Localization Management team. Responsibilities

• Manages end-to-end localization projects, working closely with Unity product managers, global stakeholders, and localization service providers
• Create and manage product plans, workflows, while also managing time, budget, resourcing and supporting loc quality control
• Solve localization issues, identify root causes, and perform corrective/preventative action
• Helps Global Localization Manager with establishing product-specific KPI’s
• Actively review Unity products and services, provide feedback on globalization strategies

Requirements

• Experience in production, project or release management of app, game or web development
• Strong team player in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment
• Solid in-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization
• Working proficiency with Translation Management Systems like Trados or SDL

Bonus points

• Localization engineering fundamentals (PLOC, UI, UX, and globalization requirements)
• Experience with localization development in software, video game, or web development
• Excellent presentation/communication skills, with the ability to clearly present the localization life-cycle to clients
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis
