About the job:

As an Estimator, you will work closely with our listings and buying teams and clients, being the in-house expert on various property, repair and valuation projects. This position plays a key role in our operations department, working cross-functionally to ensure quality and timely assessments for all life stages of the buying and selling process.

Roles & responsibilities:

  • Perform in-home property assessments, coordinating with various vendors to properly evaluate the due diligence prior to buying or selling.
  • Work with Clients and their Advisors to identify needed projects and repairs, identifying and quantifying cost factors, such as repair time, materials, and labor expenses
  • Work with our Negotiations Team to ensure high ROI on all recommended repairs and /or renovations
  • Coordinate repairs or improvements with vendors, assuming project manager responsibilities
  • Partner with Tour Specialists to elevate their home knowledge, ensuring Clients are getting upfront information during the tour process
  • Ensure excellent customer service when working with clients

Job requirements:

  • 3-5 years in construction/renovation field
  • A strong network of repair and renovation vendors
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Data-driven. Ability to ensure best ROI on projects for both the client and the company
  • Amazing people skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong ability to persuasively communicate recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
