About the Role

We’re looking for a collaborative, self-motivated, and unabashedly detail-obsessed Release Program Manager to join our rapidly-growing Product Engineering team. This person will play a key role in the organization, coordinating across teams, both inside and outside of Product Engineering, to ensure that our releases are appropriately documented and delivered on time, at our quality bar. The right candidate for this role will thrive in ambiguity and be a constant champion for improving our release processes and tools. They will also enjoy partnering with a variety of stakeholders and partner teams and will ensure each of those teams have the information and support they need to successfully deliver each release.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Product Management, Technical Writing, Services, Marketing, Account Management, Sales Enablement, and Sales Engineering to facilitate and evolve our release readiness processes.
  • Partner with our DevOps and Engineering teams to ensure changes to our engineering deployment process are communicated and well understood by our partner teams and integrated into our internal and customer-facing release processes.
  • Facilitate the Release Training process, ensuring our go-to-market teams are prepared for customer conversations for the new functionality we launch each release.
  • Partner with QA and TPMs to track regressions and ensure release blockers and bugs are resolved prior to the release.
  • Ensure partner teams, such as the Architect, Data Science, and Security teams, are involved in the right work items each release.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Engineering, Product Management, and Services to ensure the Release Plan is accurate and complete.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to define and evolve our release planning and tracking frameworks and drive alignment with stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Take part in and help evolve our product release processes.
  • Facilitate and evolve our Eng Sync and Product Team Town Hall events, celebrating wins from the past release and preparing for the upcoming release.
  • Identify, establish, and monitor metrics to track the health of our release process

Your Background

  • 2+ years of release and/or program management experience, including managing significant cross-functional programs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based application development and agile driven processes (including CI/CD).
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and productivity tools.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute on competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Desire to motivate and support the success of others.
  • Knowledge of compliance and privacy frameworks, such as SOC 2 and GDPR
