Our mission is to protect life.

We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time. From our company's inception building the TASER device to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing police agencies with the state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of the police record so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won't stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.

It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.

Your Impact

Fleet 3 is Axon’s next generation of dash camera for law enforcement. Not only will this be the best in-car video system on the market but it will include Axon’s newest artificial intelligence capabilities to incorporate live services and the ability to alert officers of vehicles of interests via smart license plate reading technology. Building this system from the ground up and leveraging the strengths of the Axon Ecosystem is a huge task.

With this mission, we are looking for an experienced program manager who has a track record of executing and coordinating complex software deliverables across multiple teams and job roles. Sitting at the middle of product, design, and engineering, you should love to build relationships across a wide variety of personalities, while driving the execution of the product. You will use your technical expertise and detail-oriented mindset to help identify, prioritize, and troubleshoot blockers and cross team dependencies.

Your Day to Day

  • Collaborating with the hardware program manager to ensure all deliverables are aligned and accomplished for our key program milestones.
  • Tracking all major roadblocks and risks, identifying dependencies to help prioritize and parallelize work, while reporting this information up and out to the broader organization.
  • Leading by example with thoroughness, detail, and care for our customers.
  • Communicating regularly and effectively with our teams in Seattle, Scottsdale, Vietnam and Finland.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years work experience as a software project or program manager. Preference towards enterprise SaaS or embedded devices.
  • High degree of competency and proven success with project management including: Agile methodology, identifying and managing risks, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communicating overall project status.
  • You are able to identify dependencies, mitigate risks and meet deliverables through global cross-functional teams
  • Experience using JIRA.
  • Experience collaborating and working closely with remote and offshore team members.
  • Can create, read and understand detailed process and software architectural documentation.
  • You are able to learn quickly and get passionate about the underserved and unique needs of public safety.
  • You resonate with Axon's Values and believe technology can be applied to tackle public safety's biggest challenges.
  • You not only can accept critical feedback - you thrive off of it and can effectively communicate it to your peers as well.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary and 401K with employer match
  • Discretionary paid time off
  • A supportive parental leave policy
  • An award-winning office/working environment
  • Ride along with real police officers in real life situations, see them use technology, get inspired
  • And more...
