About The Team
The InfoSec team is responsible for understanding the latest security threats, assessing Assurance’s IT security risks using HIPAA, PCI and SOC-2 frameworks, monitoring & responding to real-time threats, and working collaboratively with software engineering teams to minimize risk to our customer data.
About The Role
You will own threat prevention for Assurance, including threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and remediation of problems. Your goal is to minimize the chance of Assurance customer and company data being compromised, without impeding the rapid growth of the business. You will manage and configure threat monitoring tools so they appropriately monitor our business, assess the results, and work with engineering teams to remediate all threats. You will build processes for responding to critical threats discovered in real time, and lead the resolution of these threats. You will own documenting our threat prevention program and proving its effectiveness to auditors.
About You
- 3+ years of InfoSec risk work
- Insightful understanding of security threats and hands on experience remediating critical security issues
- Big data analysis skills, including SQL expertise
- Technical knowledge of network security and authentication protocols
- Excellent written communication skills
