Many Microsoft customers are quickly moving to the cloud but have some workloads that need to stay on prem. Azure hybrid and edge products help meet these requirements. If you have experience building and shipping modular or hybrid data centers, experience working on edge computing scenarios, or interest in these areas, this could be the role for you! Help us build new solutions to support Azure customer requirements beyond the hyperscale clouds.

 

We’re looking for technical program managers who can take a customer-focused approach to driving product feature development end-to-end, from diving deep into technical requirements and implementation details to looking across the entire product and working with internal and external partners to define the right solution for areas like support and documentation.

Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with engineering and partner teams to research, plan, design, and spec end-to-end features and drive their implementation to production.
  • Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and how they use the product and use this knowledge to drive improvements in future releases.
  • Respond to customer feedback and support requests.

Qualifications

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:    

  • BS degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related field
  • 5+ years of technical program management, software development or hardware engineering
  • Understanding of cloud computing technologies and business drivers 
  • Experience developing, building, and shipping data center, hybrid, or edge computing solutions
  • Demonstrated customer focus and end-to-end thinking across teams and experiences  
  • Track record of high-quality, self-directed, timely execution, and attention to detail 
  • Highly effective communication and collaboration across teams   

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
