That’s where you come in.  We’re looking for a Solution Analyst – someone who can immediately become an expert in the capabilities of Valant Platform by efficiently gathering and deeply understanding Customer requirements.  Then, design, document, configure, test, and support the powerful solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain a “go to” level of expertise with the process, workflow, form design, logic, and reporting tools and components of Valant Platform, the payment and compliance data dictionaries and rules for assigned regions, and the business process and technology needs of the healthcare providers we serve in those regions.
  • Identify, analyze, and verify process, workflow, business and technology needs to be addressed by Valant.
  • Understand customer business needs and challenges, and simplify these needs into forms, workflows, and logic that align with the product vision to address those challenges.
  • Create and maintain application and technical design and training documents specific to Customer configurations.
  • Partner with Product Management to organize and advocate for roadmap priorities, and to ensure Customer solution builds make best, most appropriate use of features, are set up for long-term success, and support Valant’s Big Data strategy.
  • Partner with, serve as a trusted advisor to, and support Valant Implementation Managers (who project manage and are responsible for Customer implementations) and Valant Success Managers (who engage and drive Customer satisfaction and retention post-Live).
  • Unit testing of Customer workflow and reporting configurations and components.
  • Provide escalated issue analysis and resolution for high value Customers.
  • Utilize Valant “Platform Administration” and reporting tools to configure forms, workflows, logic, and data view/visualizations to meet Customer requirements
  • Develop, maintain, and evangelize Valant Platform Administration best practices
  • Support business development as a consultative subject matter expert, identifying client business objectives, explaining best practices, documenting and demonstrating product capabilities and use cases
  • Leverage industry partners and consultants, as needed, to obtain specialized domain expertise in support of solution design

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years enterprise consulting, solution architect, and/or implementation experience with one or more enterprise software solutions (Healthcare/EHR domain a plus)
  • Extensive experience of hands-on roles leading and implementing enterprise software, specifically in the areas of solution or functional architecture, prescriptive business requirements assessment and solution design
  • An understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies and experience working with Product Managers 
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, trusted relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues
  • Proven effectiveness at leading and facilitating meetings and workshops
  • Capability as credible and effective Customer advisor/coach, especially in context of change management (cultural, business, and technical); capability as credible partner to internal Product and Engineering teams, as well as other decision-makers
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, taking great pride in driving positive change and results
  • Personal interest in giving Customers a satisfying and success experience; enjoy working with people, with natural and effective communication and relationship building skills
  • Top-notch analytical skills; methodical and detail-oriented planner and problem-solver; ability to eliminate variables, prioritize requirements, identify root causes and present objective, organized information to Customers, internal Product and Engineering teams, and other Valant decision-makers
  • Strong, influential written and verbal communication skills, with technical writing experience
  • Excellent situational awareness - must be comfortable in dynamic customer environments and enthusiastically present Valant
  • Take pride in identifying creative solutions that offer successful compromise in the space between Customer demands and software capabilities
  • Strong technical skills, especially with Microsoft Office suite and XLS data manipulation; excited to apply and master new technology
  • Ability to travel to client sites up to 25% of the time
