Our mission is to protect life.

We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time. From our company's inception building the TASER to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing police agencies with the state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect us. In the next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of the police record so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won't stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.

It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.

THE PRODUCT: 21st CENTURY COMMUNICATION

We are building a new product that will help police officers at their most critical moment – when they’re responding to a call for service. How do we get cops the right information, at the right time, and in the right format, so that they can arrive at the scene prepared and ready to act? How can we equip them to better coordinate with each other and their partners (fire, medical, other neighboring agencies)? The right solution will utilize intelligent mapping and routing, real-time communications, applications of artificial intelligence, and a heavy focus on making industry-leading experiences usable for both officers doing 60 MPH in a 35 zone, and for dispatchers handling hundreds of calls a day.

If you are interested in solving critical, concrete, real-world problems, this is the challenge for you. If you love to get close to your users to understand not just their workflows and their tasks, but their mindsets and their culture, this is the place for you. If you are interested in creating a mission critical product used to save lives, this is the product for you.

THE TEAM

At Axon, we develop products with a laser focus on the customer. This means both embedding individuals with public safety experience within teams, and kicking employees out of the office (devs included) to interact with customers on a regular basis. You will be joining a team whose #1 priority is to impact on the day to day operation of law enforcement.

Working on this team is like being part of a well funded, early stage startup. We are growing fast, and everyone is expected to pitch in to help grow both the product and the company, wherever needed.

THE ROLE

You will be the connective tissue between the stakeholders involved in successfully building the product, bringing it to market, and getting it into the hands of customers. We are looking for someone hungry to leverage their knowledge of law enforcement, emergency dispatch, and building successful teams to help bring revolutionary tools to the market. If you come from a law enforcement/communications background, this is an opportunity to dive deep and help build a product that would have made your life that much easier.

In the beginning, your primary role will be to work with the Product team, ensuring that we are focusing on the highest-impact value. As we bring Axon Now to market, you will be responsible for building early Sales channels and assisting Product Marketing to craft messaging that resonates with the industry. Once Axon Now is in the market, you will be responsible for enabling Sales by identifying, pursuing, and qualifying opportunities.
