Sr. Manager, Program Management
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is looking for a Senior Manager, Program Management to join our Healthcare Merchandising Team. Healthcare is one of our fastest growing and more innovative verticals at Chewy, as we continue to expand, we are looking to find additional opportunities to drive customer retention, improve our authorization approval process and offer a better customer experience. This role will lead strategy, short- and long-term roadmaps, initiatives, and processes to help us achieve these goals. We’re looking for the right person to work with leaders across Chewy to intake and lead these new programs, working across multiple Chewy functional areas, such as Merchandising, Product Management, Analytics, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, Finance, etc. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a track record of launching new products, programs and processes. In addition, the right candidate will have strong project management skills, powerful sense of urgency and most importantly, a backbone.
What You'll Do:
- Owning key metrics and objectives related to retention rates, approval rates, customer satisfaction within healthcare businesses.
- Developing and communicating the long-term vision and strategy to achieve business objectives.
- Ideate and identify specific initiatives and projects to achieve vision and objectives.
- Guiding cross-functional teams of product managers, analytics leads, category managers, operation managers, finance managers and legal teams on the design and execution of initiatives and projects.
- Communicating product strategy and status to key stakeholders across Chewy; developing intake processes for feature enhancement suggestions.
- Lead the identification and implementation of project management processes, methods, tools, guidelines, standards, and a road map to establish a stable framework that supports all project teams and stakeholders.
- Track key milestones and manage detailed project plans to drive execution, accountability and gauge readiness.
- Identify areas of risk for a poor customer experience and partner with business owners to address and remedy prior to program launches.
- Create, document, and drive adoption and adherence to standard operating procedures for PracticeHub and Petscriptions by Chewy operations
- Communicate with up to VP-level leadership on project status
- Review and analyze defect data, while developing corresponding action plans to reduce and eliminate root causes
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management or a related quantitative degree
- 7+ years of experience in project/program/product management
- Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome and to build strong business relationships at all levels and effectively communicate across functional teams.
- Strong change management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks.
- Interject new insights and ideas for improving customer experience and improving financials while holding true to Chewy fundamentals
- Position may require travel

Compensation & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $107,000 - $207,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
