About the Role


We’re looking for a collaborative, self-motivated, and unabashedly detail-obsessed Technical Project Manager to join our rapidly-growing Product Engineering team. This person will fill a pivotal role on the Marketing Website team, operating at the confluence of Marketing, Engineering, Design, and Customer Service. The Marketing Website team is responsible for building and evolving a variety of different products including the Sales Enablement PRO site, which brings together the world's largest community of sales enablement professionals, the Highspot Spark Community site, which allows Highspot’s customers to attend online events and learn from one another, and Highspot’s marketing website, which helps Highspot’s prospects learn more about us and our product. The right candidate for this role is a highly organized and knowledgeable agile practitioner who fluently speaks the language of SaaS products and technologies (though not necessarily a developer), and who knows how to apply and adapt processes commensurate with the company’s size, culture, challenges, and strategic objectives. They will also be skilled at translating stakeholder requests and visions into tangible specifications, project plans, and a roadmap that the Marketing Website team can deliver. 

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with Marketing, Design, and Engineering to deliver a unified prioritized roadmap that incorporates input and feedback from multiple stakeholder teams. 
  • Develop requirements for new features and product enhancements that meet stakeholder needs and incorporate feedback from the Marketing Website Team. Clearly document and communicate those requirements and ensure they are thoughtfully implemented and thoroughly tested.
  • Collaborate with QA, Design, and Engineering to develop a plan for the release and track the team’s delivery to that plan. 
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products.
  • Host and facilitate team meetings to ensure teams are on track, open questions are closed quickly, and obstacles are removed. 
  • Partner with QA to help suffuse quality and effective testing through every stage of the SDLC.
  • Create tools and optimize cross-functional development processes to meet the scaling organization’s needs and deliver predictable results.
  • Teach and model agile processes.
  • Write and manage team documentation (both technical and non-technical).
  • Anticipate and resolve risks and roadblocks to ensure projects are completed on time. 
  • Lead a variety of projects that intersect with product engineering; for example, initiatives related to compliance, business intelligence, reporting, and selection of technology and vendors.

Your Background

  • Proven success as a project manager for globally distributed software teams.
  • Proven success in a Product Management or Product Owner role. 
  • Experience with agile software development methodologies and productivity tools.
  • Experience taking ideas and ambiguous data, defining the right outcome, and then mapping the right roadmap/backlog to get there.
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute on competing priorities. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across leadership levels, as well as both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills. 
  • Software development experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality.
  • Ability to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing environment.
  • Passionate about collaborating with a variety of different functions and levels to deliver

Our HQ is located within walking distance of Pike Place Market and the Seattle Piers. With amazing 360 views of the Puget Sound and Downtown Seattle. The only downside, there are almost too many places to pick for your lunch meetings.
