As Display Module Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of display modules across multiple Facebook product families. Your responsibility will start from product concept inception all the way to completing the NPI process.


Technical Program Manager, Display Responsibilities

  • Develop LCD and OLED display technology roadmap in the product family with engineering partners.

  • Develop new technology exploration and productization strategies.

  • Engage with product management, architecture, and system team to define future module specifications.

  • Develop budget and resource planning for the program/roadmap.

  • Strategic planning and supply chain development and management.

  • Create development, delivery, and qualification schedules based on optical module and system requirements, technical challenges, lead-times and business needs.

  • Assist engineering and sourcing teams with supplier evaluation and selection.

  • Manage discussion on DDIC requirements with cross-functional partners, vendor design review, kick off and development.

  • Manage prototyping, evaluation, and downselect activities and strategies.

  • Identify and collaborate with software team on software development relevant to display.

  • Manage and track reliability and quality/yield improvements activities through NPI stage.

  • Collaborate with operations team and develop mass production transition plan.

  • Work with teams to set milestones, communicate program statuses, and identify/address potential setbacks both internally and externally.

  • Manage delivery of samples and mass production parts for the different builds.

  • Organize required face to face on site meeting with vendors.

  • Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including specifications, design options, KPIs and test plans.

  • Ensure program documents are complete, current and available for staff and leadership review.

  • Manage core team and cross-functional communication and working meetings.

  • Manage external communications, working meetings, and design reviews with vendors.

  • Manage high level messaging and represent your program in high level internal reviews.

  • Work cross-functionally to develop technology development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment to ensure on time delivery.

  • Be the navigator and cheerleader for your team to help them navigate through uncertainty and deliver as planned.

  • Up to 20% travel (domestically and internationally).

    Minimum Qualifications

    • BS in Engineering field or equivalent experience.

    • 3+ years experience working as a technology development program manager for consumer electronics.

    • 2+ years experience working on HW Module projects.

    • Understanding of phase gate approach to technology development projects.

    • Experience with component and module qualification, validation and characterization processes.

    • Knowledge of program and issue tracking.

    • Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams and projects.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Direct experience working with display (OLED or LCD) preferred.
