We are looking for a motivated, hands-on, and analytical Technical Program Manager to drive business-critical, high-impact initiatives for measuring and proving the value we bring to our advertising partners. You’ll work with Engineering and Product teams to identify product priorities and scale our technical offerings.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify opportunities and implement solutions to measure, scale and deliver value to our advertising partners
  • Work with 3rd party measurement providers to clarify requirements and build effective and scalable technica solutions
  • Rationalize, automate and restructure our key measurement workflows and data pipelines
  • Assure security, privacy, compliance and overall quality of our measurement system components
  • Establish the vision, strategy, technical direction and success metrics for complex, cross-functional measurement projects
  • Establish effective cross-functional processes to anticipate, understand, prioritize and exceed the needs and requirements of our customers
  • Build clear and transparent communication channels to align internal stakeholders and ensure that relevant audiences receive accurate, consistent and trustworthy information about Pinterest initiatives and offerings
  • Work with stakeholders and effectively execute all aspects of the program management lifecycle, from conception and planning through execution, delivery, support and deprecation

What we’re looking for:

  • BS in a technical discipline or equivalent experience (4+ years in a technical or analytical role)
  • 5+ years experience in a technology management role (engineering manager, product manager, program manager or technical consulting engagement manager)
  • Strong technical breadth and judgement - ability to quickly ramp up and go deep on a range of technologies, ability to identify technical risks and tradeoffs
  • Comfort with a fast-changing environment and ability to manage ambiguity
  • Focus on execution and delivery in a data-informed environment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally to identify opportunities and deliver solutions
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, organizational awareness, and ability to persuade others to accomplish program objectives while holding yourself and your team to a high standard of accountability
  • Prior experience in online advertising and/or measurement is a major plus, but not an absolute requirement
  • As a role that straddles the line between Product and Technical Program Management, prior experience as a PM or TPM is highly desirable
