We value diversity in all dimensions.Overview:OctoML is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to partner with Go-To-Market, Product, and Engineering teams focused on extending the capabilities of TVM to target new hardware backends and interoperate with more software stacks. A successful candidate will leverage their technical knowledge to influence and drive cross-team projects and roadmaps, including for critical contracts with Fortune 50 companies. They will provide the hands-on project management, cross-functional coordination, and inter/intra team communication to ensure business stakeholders are well informed and engineering deliverables are executed efficiently. The ability to translate high-level technical milestones into discrete engineering tasks and manage their follow through is a key aspect of this role, in addition to having sufficient technical depth to be an active participant in planning and scoping discussions.As a TPM, you will:

• Manage project schedules and cross-team dependencies, identify possible issues, and clearly communicate them to stakeholders
• Develop processes and methodologies to efficiently track multiple, sometimes overlapping engineering projects at scale
• Work with engineering and product leads to incorporate unplanned work and new customer requirements into the roadmap
• Proactively identify and propose novel solutions to resourcing gaps, tradeoffs, and general efficiencies in the delivery model

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Track record of successfully managing complicated, cross-functional technical projects on deadline with high customer and executive visibility.
• Experience working with several different engineering development methodologies and development tools.
• Multitasker able to execute multiple programs simultaneously.
• Proven ability to identify and resolve process deficiencies, including influencing peers and managers toward a shared future vision.
• Capable of presenting complex information targeted at the right level for both internal and external audiences.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, compilers and optimization techniques and workflows. Bonus for any prior hands-on development experience in these areas.
• Comfortable having technical discussions with engineering teams, and preparing technical status updates to customers and partnering organizations.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
