What will you do?

• Manage all assigned translation projects from start to finish, identifying, scheduling and supervising all project phases and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage pre-post translation file processing as required.
• Creates briefs, instructions, and guidelines for all translation teams.
• Manage day to day communication with external vendors to ensure that quality, schedule and budget expectations are met, negotiating deadlines and rates.
• Monitor the performance of translation vendors, providing support, advice and guidance if needed (on tools, processes, responsibilities etc.)

• Provide support, advice, guidance to the linguists in their daily tasks
• Log and manage language-specific queries from translation vendors, keeping the internal team up to date and synchronizing updates with other languages, as appropriate.
• Monitor and control projects status and finances, including budgeting.
• Ensure projects are completed and delivered to clients within the timeline and with ultimate attention to quality.
• Interact, communicate, and collaborate with various stakeholders: regular meetings, sync-up calls, status updates etc.

• Complete project admin, ensuring all vendor agreements (SOW, DPA, and MSA), quotes and invoices are correctly processed and filed (Project Tracker, SalesForce).
• Prepare and maintain project and process documentation constantly updated.
• Maintains and archives digital files so that they are clearly and accurately stored and can be easily retrieved/accessed.

Our Translation Project Managers also have:

• University Degree (preferably in linguistic/translation related studies)

• Minimum 5 year of professional experience in a similar position
• Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven abilities in project planning, resource, and risk management
• Ability to meet deadlines

• Solution orientated problem solver with excellent planning and organizational skills
• Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on experience with CAT tools and TMS (Memsource, XTM etc).
