Position Overview
We're seeking a Prompt Engineer / Sr. Prompt Engineer to design, test, and optimize prompts to improve the performance and reliability of generative AI solutions . You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, and software engineers to build intelligent systems to deliver meaningful and accurate outputs for the business of insurance.
What You'll Do

• Design, refine, and evaluate prompts , context, and system instructions for various product use cases
• Conduct experiments to assess model behavior , accuracy , and cost impact with new or existing prompt s
• Monitor model outputs for bias, hallucination, and performance degradation
• Analyze and address technical problems related to prompt design and model interaction
• Identify and address blockers or dependencies impacting prompt effectiveness
• Document prompt designs, experiment results, and integration patterns to ensure alignment
• Continuously improve prompt engineering processes by adopting new techniques and technologies
• Apply and advocate for best practices in prompt engineering and information security
• Develop and maintain prompt libraries and internal documentation to enable scalability

We're Excited to Learn More About You
We're looking for someone who:

• Experience working with large language models and prompt engineering techniques
• Experience with code languages such as Python, Go, Node, or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with LLM platforms (OpenAI, Vertex AI, or Azure ML )
• Experience with A gentic Frameworks such as LangChain / LangGraph , Google ADK, or Agent Builder and supporting concepts such as Tools, MCP, and RAG
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing practices
• Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
• Ability to think creatively and systematically to solve complex problems
• Bachelor's in Computer Science , Data Science, or a related field

Location
Candidate will need to reside in North America, working arrangement will be remote.

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $100,000 - $150,000. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
