Curai is a health tech company that offers virtual urgent and primary care services powered by a world-class care team and cutting-edge AI. We have recently gone to market as an enablement solution for other healthcare service businesses. This role is part of the overall Growth team, comprising the Business & Market Development, Sales & Sales Operations, Implementations, Client Success and Marketing functions.
We are looking for a Regional Vice President, Sales (RVP) focused on payers nationwide to join our Sales team. This individual will drive growth in this market segment as part of Curai’s commercialization efforts.
Health plans have unique needs, priorities, and partner models that distinguish them from traditional businesses and require different engagement strategies and sales motions. As Curai begins to grow rapidly, we seek a RVP to own, operate and define strategy for a defined territory as well as drive revenue. This RVP will align closely with business development to drive strategic support, and sales operations to help drive top of funnel outcomes and accelerate selling in the field. The RVP will be responsible for being on top of the latest payer trends, especially primary care, product and artificial intelligence (AI) strategies.

What You’ll Do
• Sales Cycle Management:
Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a strategic approach to each stage of the sales process.
• Relationship Building:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within health plans, including C-level executives, clinical leadership, and IT/operations teams. This role requires high emotional intelligence and the ability to influence decision-making at multiple levels.
• Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Implementations, and Product, to ensure that the sales strategy aligns with Curai’s broader goals and that customer needs are met effectively. The role demands a collaborative mindset to drive results and advocate for customers.
• Reporting:
Track and report on key sales metrics, including pipeline development, deal progression, and revenue impact. Prepare and deliver business reviews to senior leadership, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Driving Revenue:
Meet or exceed targets for the adoption of Curai Health solutions with health plans and TPAs. The Regional Vice President, Sales will be responsible for setting a go-to-market strategy, executing daily to grow the customer base, and ensuring that Curai’s solutions are effectively communicated and positioned in the market.
• Strategic Influence:
Stay on top of the latest payer trends, especially those related to primary care, product innovation, and AI strategies. Use this knowledge to drive process improvements and influence Curai’s long-term strategy for the health plan market.
What You’ll Need
• 5+ years quota-carrying sales experience at a digital health, health tech or healthcare services business with documented quota achievement.
• Deep insights into the payer ecosystem, main stakeholders and trends.
• Strong writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft business proposals, build compelling business cases, and present to senior executives.
• The ability to research, identify, pitch and close new business deals coupled with strong analytical and account management skills is required.
• High emotional intelligence and experience influencing purchase decisions in collaboration with others.
• Skills required to build relationships include creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all customer's needs.
• A long-term mindset that understands the importance of investing in and adding value to payers early in their lifecycle to earn their trust and loyalty.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree.
• Position may require the ability to travel 25% to 40% of the time, as needed.

On Target Earnings will range from $250,000 to $333,333, depending on experience, with a 60/40 split between base salary and performance-based bonus. Additionally, there is potential for 125% overachievement on the bonus portion.
