About This Role

The Account Coordinator (AC) will be responsible for retaining and growing revenue from Apptentive’s existing customer base. The AC will play an integral role in the success of the overall sales team by securing the trust of all our accounts. This is a quota-carrying position and you will be responsible for delivering #CustomerLove on a daily basis.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for expanding the use of Apptentive within the most well-known brands and mobile apps from around the world. We want to see you succeed and reach your revenue goals. You will have the full support of our entire team, from the CEO to our engineers, in an effort to make sure you can be responsible for what you do best: Growing relationships with customers you care about.

Some of the things you'll be tasked with include:

  • Transition clients between the sales & onboarding processes, ensuring value creation and goal-setting is documented with a Client Success Document (CSD), agreed upon and referenced by the client
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals (quota) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing opportunities within the accounts 
  • Maintain close relationships with our technical Client Success Managers (CSM) in order to aid in client value delivery 
  • Nurture and expand the company's relationship with all accounts
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information in SalesForce
  • Provide product demonstrations and general support to customers
  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
  • Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers and support staff
  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities including strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care
  • Travel to customer locations in support of sales efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

To be successful, you will likely have:

  • At least 1-2 years account management experience selling a SaaS/technology product
  • Demonstrated history of quota and revenue target attainment 
  • Strong knowledge of Mobile apps ecosystem, analytics and/or professional services
  • Background in working with mobile apps and/or mobile app B2B technologies
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience using Salesforce, Powerpoint, Excel, Jira, Google Docs
