We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Ad Sales team in Seattle to support our Directory Service, the largest call-oriented Search engine in the world, which serves millions of users around the globe and it's growing by nearly a million new users a month.

In this role, you will be directly responsible for selling advertising space on Samsung places to local businesses across the U.S. Success in this role is measured by hitting and exceeding monthly ad sales goals, consistently staying ahead of daily metrics, and handling rejection in stride, all in a team-focused environment. Our ideal candidates will have experience with “pay per click” ad sales, a technology mindset and a passion for data.

What will you do:

  • Create, manage and own your ad sales pipeline from the prospect’s initial inquiry to the close of the deal
  • Actively develop opportunities by identifying and researching potential accounts
  • Present custom web/phone demonstrations to prospects after evaluating their needs and matching to the best solution(s)
  • Maintain and grow existing customer base by providing best-in-class customer service
  • Collaborate with the Marketing, Account Management, and Product teams to provide our customers with the best possible product experience
  • Ensure successful onboarding of new clients
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine necessary strategic sales approaches
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers

What we expect from you:

  • You’re an excellent listener, assertive, persistent, and persuasive
  • You are genuinely curious about people, local businesses, and possess the innate ability to inspire passion in others
  • You are adaptable and can think on your feet; when faced with new challenges, or tough conversations, failure simply isn't an option
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • You have previous experience with a CRM, Customer Service Ticketing System, or similar proprietary systems
  • You have a record of exceeding goals: exceeding sales quota and quality ‘contact’ metrics (numbers of meetings secured, etc.)
  • You have an appetite for learning! You’re keen on turning training and feedback into action and continuous self-improvement
  • You are committed to a high standard of integrity and work ethic
  • 4-year degree

What are some social events your company does?

We include key members from each team(Client, QA, Gateway, Product) in the project kickoffs, sprint plannings, and retrospectives. We talk to each other constantly and have meetings when it's necessary to get things done. We also keep improving ourselves to make the next project better:)

I work on the Partner Solutions team where we ship a call protection product that can be built right in to your phone, or can be used as a downloadable app. We work directly with phone carriers so you need to have curiosity and empathy for the needs of customers and end users, from the technical spec down to the details of in-app user experience.
