About the Team:

The Enterprise Field Sales team focuses on building strategic relationships with enterprise-level prospects, navigating all points of the sales cycle via phone, video, and in-person meetings and presentations, and closing new business.

About the Position:

We are looking for a hard-working and passionate Business Development Executive to grow our new client base in the Catholic Church market. This position will be selling to prospects who are leaders in the Catholic Church, at both the Parish and Diocese/Archdiocese level. This position will sell our software in support of a top-down and bottom-up sales strategy in the Catholic segment. Building upon our early success in other markets, this role will help to establish Pushpay as the premier provider of enterprise-level engagement and Church Management software for the Catholic Church. This role reports to the Sr. Dir. Field Sales.

Responsibilities: 

  • Identify and develop a pipeline of prospective church customers through research, cold-calling, internet and professional networking. 
  • Manage the entire sales process from prospect to close. This includes product demonstration, negotiating and closing contracts. 
  • Meet and exceed sales revenue and booking goals. 
  • Educate prospects and clients about Pushpay’s products and services through presentations and product demonstrations. 
  • Clearly articulate Pushpay’s value proposition and return on investment. 
  • Build strong relationships with church leaders in the assigned geographic territory/segment 
  • Collaborate and partner with internal Pushpay teams including Sales, Sales Development, Marketing and other partner affiliates to execute company initiatives. 
  • Cultivate relationships with business partners in assigned territory. 
  • Plan, direct and coordinate sales support activities, including documentation and management of the sales pipeline through Salesforce. 
  • Share industry, deal, and sales “best practice” knowledge with other members of the sales team.
  • Be a continuous learner of the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position Pushpay to win. 
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team and Implementation Team to ensure that expectations set during the sales process are met in delivery. 
  • Provide ongoing feedback that would aid in identifying new market opportunities. 
  • Ability to work within budget for travel and entertainment (dinners, activities, etc.). 

Basic Qualifications / Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of technology sales experience or church growth experience with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
  • History of starting new endeavors, bringing structure where there is ambiguity 
  • Ability to connect with all types of people, from Executive-level leaders to new hires 
  • Strong business & financial acumen 
  • Strong executive engagement skills 

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with the Catholic Church and how its leadership makes purchase decisions
  • 2+ years of experience working with and closing business with Diocese and parish leaders
  • Experience in selling Enterprise SaaS solutions 
  • Must be a self-starter with self-discipline to work with a high degree of autonomy in an organization that emphasizes the importance of teamwork. 
  • Accountable for results and quota attainment. 
  • Must be able to interact with internal and external customers in a manner that fosters a dynamic team-based, customer focused culture. 
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and loves helping to form new sales and marketing strategies with world-class technology.

*The following states are approved as remote locations for this position: CA, CO, FL, HI, MI, NY, OH, SD, TN, TX, WA. All other states are not in consideration for this role at this time.

Pay for CO state: $64,500 base + commission. On target earnings of $129,000 annually.

Pay for other states: Varies based on location

Job Type: Full Time, Remote
