The XPortfolio Business Development Associate will report to the Senior Commercial Trade Services Account Manager in order to further the strategic commercial vision of the company by identifying potential business opportunities and working with clients to maximize product usage and drive new growth opportunities.


Responsibilities

- Prospect for and identify new potential sales leads for the EMA portfolio management system 

- Qualify sales leads through direct outreach using multiple touch points including email campaigns, cold calling, referrals and cross-selling with other Xpansiv sales lines in order to identify them as viable and coordinate hand off to the Senior Commercial Trade Services Account Manager 

- Build on an existing sales pipeline in the CRM by searching for and identifying key persons within each company lead and associated contact information 

- Consistently update CRM with detailed activity and reports to provide knowledge transfer and transparency to all internal stakeholders 

- Develop a keen understanding of all Xpansiv products/services and how they relate to each other and our customers 

- Become proficient on the EMA portfolio management system and the benefits associated with the product and ecosystem 

- Assist in providing additional training and education for existing EMA users on the platform 

- Identify cross-selling opportunities and interact with all Xpansiv product teams and sales groups.

- Play an active role in the successful execution of sales initiatives resulting in long term revenue retention and customer growth


Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

- Successful track record of 2+ years in technical sales and/or business development

- Excellent communication skills and ability to cold call leads 

- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines and targets 

- Strong customer-oriented approach to sales and belief in building customer relationships 

- Proficient in Excel and Office Products

- Proficient in Slack, Zoom and other remote working tools

- Proficient in CRM software


Preferred Qualifications

- Software industry sales experience

We're currently working with a hybrid workplace model and recently secured a beautiful new office space in Belltown. Some employees feel comfortable going in a few times per week.
