This role is a combination of building and executing a high volume outbound sales process. You must be a smart but fearless conversationalist with the ability to not just follow a process, but to build it. You will have the opportunity to build your skills at lead generation and move into a full-cycle business development role building channel partnerships.

We’re looking for someone to add to our Integrated Payments team who develops relationships with software partners and industry organizations to bring to market POS / credit card processing offerings that help independent business thrive in pursuit of our mission to “stand with the little guy or gal who believes in the American dream and is willing to work to achieve it.”

Responsibilities:

  • Build new strategic relationships through high-volume outbound prospecting
  • Execute online and in-person product consultations
  • Develop, test and iterate on partnership sales strategy
  • Own and grow vertical markets by securing partnership agreements
  • Identify and qualify prospective partners
  • Assess technology and industry trends and their impact on different vertical markets
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events establishing a presence in target vertical communities to identify new opportunities
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial partnership agreements
  • Maintain and document understanding of different partner opportunities
  • Monitor financial statistics for partnership and target vertical performance and profitability

The kind of person you are:

  • Well-polished presentation, written, verbal communication skills, and the ability to tell a compelling story about partner / customer value
  • Drive to execute on high-volume sales strategies
  • Ability to create and prioritize strategic target account lists and defined verticals
  • Ability to work alongside our marketing and the technical integrations teams to develop and execute account plans
  • Experience using sales, market, and industry data to identify and support strategic initiatives
  • Success overcoming objections and achieving channel growth targets
  • Prior success driving sales growth within specific channels, preferably in a consultative B2B environment is a plus
  • Comfortable with up to 30% travel
