Your role and impact

 

98point6 is seeking a Business Development Specialist who will play a key role contributing to our rapid growth. This role will convert inbound leads produced by marketing campaigns and assist with our national business development by working alongside our VP of Sales. You will focus on engaging and qualifying prospective customers, as well as assisting them through the contracting and onboarding process.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Marketing Team to fill the top of the sales funnel by creating and executing lead generation campaigns while nurturing existing prospects
  • Own the sales cycle for our small and medium business market segments
  • Partner with each VP of Sales/Business Development to create and execute lead generation strategies for their territories (e.g., research key accounts, identify and develop contacts and set meetings)
  • Support brokers and consultants by providing sales enablement materials, quotes and contracts for their clients
  • Identify bottlenecks in the client journey and work with internal teams to find a solution that improves client satisfaction and allows the team to scale 
  • Support the Account Management Team through the onboarding and implementation of new clients
  • Stay up to date on the healthcare industry, including current benefit trends
  • Act as a subject matter expert on 98point6 and our value proposition

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience with B2B inside sales at a high-tech, rapid growth company
  • Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and execute several deliverables simultaneously within time constraints
  • Successful track record of closing deals and providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Experience with prospecting, cold calling and building and managing a sales pipeline
  • Passionate about learning the world of healthcare—its benefits, key players and industry trends
  • Experience using Salesforce, SalesLoft and LinkedIn is a plus
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as being organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong team player, comfortable with and motivated to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders in the Marketing, Sales and Product teams
