DomainTools has an exciting challenge and opportunity in front of us. Building on the thousands of users of our online products and great reputation in domain and DNS data, we are seeing incredible growth in our International Enterprise markets. To support that growth, we need to build and refine the operational program to effectively support our Sales Teams and the sales efforts of our channel partners.

 

Your role as the Channel Operations Manager will be to develop, operationalize and optimize programs, processes and systems to help DomainTools scale our global channel sales. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of several important aspects of Channel Operations as well as acting as a key player within the Marketing, Sales, Revenue Intelligence and Account Management organizations.

 

Reporting to the VP of Sales, you will be partnering with the sales team to help to build and manage our Global Partner Ecosystem in support of our expanding International Sales. As a critical part of our Sales team, you will be focused on operational readiness for both systems and processes to help enable our Global Partners and regularly communicate with the sales team for planning, forecasting, deal analysis and maintaining partner data in Salesforce.com. This role can be based in Seattle, WA in our Headquarter office, or in Europe to cover the European and Asian time zones.

 

Responsibilities
 

Design, enhance and implement the infrastructure and business processes required to effectively manage a successful set of channel programs including onboarding, price books, lead routing, deal registration, programs and reporting

● Manage opportunity registration and referral programs including system maintenance and continuous process improvements, working closely with sales and channels

● Manage and maintain partnership agreements and liaise internally when new partners are signed, existing partners move to new term, or are terminated

● Introduce and facilitate relationships between the Partner and DomainTools Sales & Account Management teams

● Manage deal registration and sales pipeline in Salesforce.com

● Enable Partner through coordination of training and education on sales, customer service, products, technical knowledge, programs and DomainTools branded collateral

Key Requirements

● Experienced in data analysis and can translate numerical analysis into business insights

● 5+ years of channel programs or operations experience, preferably in a start up/challenger environment

● Experience in the Large Enterprise Software space strongly preferred

● Experience building and maintaining a deal registration program for channel partners

● Excellent verbal and written communications skills to be able to interact effectively at all levels of an organization, from individual contributors to C-level

Meticulous attention to detail and process

● Proven ability to be a self starter, perform successfully with integrity and in an ever-evolving framework of internal processes
