About the Team

Our Commercial Account Executive, Growth team works closely with our existing customer accounts. They establish relationships with customer stakeholders but working closely with our Customer Success Managers to assess customer business objectives and needs. Our team partners cross functionally with our Solutions Consultants to help oversee any technical validation, trials, or proof of concepts that may be required to ensure the effectiveness of Outreach. Our team manages both renewal and expansion sales cycles from generation through to close. 


Our team enjoys learning new sales trends & methodologies, going to industry events, subscribing to blogs/podcasts, reading books, and researching case studies so we can grow together. Our team works closely together to champion our customers, share success stories, and in our daily team huddles we celebrate our wins and share goals.


The Role

As a Commercial Account Executive on the Growth team, you will be responsible for retaining and expanding a territory of existing customer accounts. The role requires the ability to plan and strategize customer engagements and collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, Solution Consultants and Customer Success Managers assigned to customers. You will serve as the customer’s primary champion and point of contact at Outreach. A successful team member will be accountable for developing a plan that will lead to successful business outcomes and ongoing value for our customers.


Location

Must be located in Seattle or surrounding areas. This is a hybrid position with the expectation of going into the Seattle office 2-3x a week.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Build and manage territory and account plans to prioritize and align engagement of customers - engage at the right time with the right messaging
  • Execute the Outreach sales methodology and process with excellence on behalf of serving customers’ needs
  • Hitting a quota via both renewal and expansion revenue
  • Engage with customers on a frequent, regular basis with current customer stakeholders as well as new stakeholders throughout the customer organization
  • Becoming an Outreach product expert, to learn and demonstrate the Outreach platform to non Outreach users
  • Developing a plan that will lead to successful business outcomes and ongoing value for our customers, whilst increasing incremental revenue

Basic Qualifications

  • 6 years or more of sales experience, with 4 of those years in a closing role preferably a SaS environment for a multi-product company
  • Proven success in closing both renewal and expansion opportunities with a consistent track record of hitting goal and numbers
  • Demonstrated, proven success in relationship building, prospecting, pipeline management, contract negotiation and closing customers
  • Ability to build positive relationships and influence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent
  • Experience leveraging Salesforce.com
