Commercial Account Manager

Your Role and Impact
We are looking for an Account Manager to own commercial client relationships and drive the clients’ interactions with 98point6. You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of 98point6 employer groups, including implementation efforts for our new clients, along with managing, growing and renewing existing business. You will be responsible for building relationships on multiple levels within 98point6 and our clients’ organizations to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for client loyalty and satisfaction, as measured by survey results and retention
- Lead new business implementation through strong collaboration with internal team members to deliver a superior client experience to the employer, their employees and covered dependents
- Establish, cultivate and manage the client relationship at multiple levels, including executive- level leadership and HR and benefit leaders, serving as a trusted advisor
- Create a strategic retention and growth plan for each 98point6 client, documenting and maintaining the plan within Salesforce
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with internal team members to build for scale
- Maintain healthcare industry knowledge, including current benefit trends
- Establish, cultivate and manage relationships with consultants and brokers, recognizing the value they bring to our clients
- Consistent display of positive client interactions, including the ability to successfully manage employer group expectations. This includes the ability to meet clients’ needs by creating solutions with the technology capabilities and resources available
- Ability to organize, plan, prioritize and execute several deliverables simultaneously within time constraints
Qualifications
- 2+ years of account management experience with a proven track record of strategic and consultative sales or human resources experience
- A strong desire and ability to provide superior customer service
- Excellent negotiation, persuasion, collaboration and listening skills
- Exceptional messaging, positioning and presentation of information to influence clients
- Strong work management skills—including the ability to identify a goal and the steps needed to accomplish it
- Willingness to travel as required
