We are looking for a SaaS Contract Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will have an opportunity to work cross-functionally throughout our organization. For this role, strong analytical skills and attention to detail are imperative. You will be working directly with our sales team on contracts and pricing to make sure all customer deals run efficiently. 

You will:

  • Negotiate and agree on key terms with our enterprise customers.
  • Demonstrate the value of Textio's service agreement to customers.
  • Publish customer-facing content to explain our service agreement in simple terms.
  • Train sales reps to sell and negotiate key legal and business terms.
  • Work with the Salesforce administrator to detail key contract changes.
  • Monitor and evaluate Textio's risk profile.

Role

The role requires effective integration and engagement within account teams and with prospective customers, to build rapport and credibility, assist in creating and delivering commercial solutions to meet the customer's need and build consensus. You will need to react with speed to the evolving world of SaaS, both externally in understanding the market, and internally as our processes and terms evolve.

Deal Focus:

  • Contract negotiations: Finalize contractual terms and support revenue organization to close the transaction.
  • Strategy planning: Ensure the sales team builds and executes a coherent strategy backed by a proven concession plan.
  • Case management: Lead teams in closing groundbreaking deals; evaluate and handle risk within a deal.

Sales Enablement

  • Support, coach and mentor business partners and co-workers with their understanding of our contract terms.
  • Share experience and knowledge with the sales and finance teams.
  • Build repeatable sales processes, train the sales team and monitor compliance.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven successful and highly attuned influencing skills and experienced commercial negotiator.
  • Proven knowledge of contracts and commercial paperwork.
  • Ability to engage in multiple, sophisticated multi-dimensional commercial negotiations at once.
  • Ability to build and maintain a large internal network, and hold relationships across the company.
  • Prepared to work in, and lead virtual teams requiring strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced at dealing with multiple parties and interests in a constructive manner.
