The Role 


We are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Order Management Analyst to join our Finance organization. The primary focus of this position will be to process completed orders and ensure they are correctly set up in our CRM and subscription accounting systems. The right person for this job has a team player approach, attention to detail, excels at problem solving through critical analysis, and is challenged by process review and continuous improvement.  


About the team


You will be joining the Deal Desk team within the Finance organization that structures profitable and compliant transactions that address the needs of a diverse set of internal corporate customers, maximize Outreach revenue, and increase the effectiveness and productivity of our sales teams.

Your daily adventures will include

  • Accurately processing orders using the Company's internal CRM and subscription accounting systems
  • Partnering closely with the Revenue Operations team to understand our CRM and subscription accounting systems and work on continuous improvement
  • Cultivating and sustaining strong working relationships with pivotal business partners (e.g. Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Legal, Support, etc.) to help facilitate the review and approval process
  • Building and reviewing a variety of order forms with differing levels of complexity for accuracy, while ensuring all required approvals, such as discounts and contractual terms, are obtained and clearly documented as well as being fully compliant with Outreach's internal policies
  • Assisting in delivering ongoing education and training to ensure Sales understanding of and compliance with all deal processes
  • Safeguarding and managing data quality in SFDC for all proposed and closed quotes/deals and ensuring that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience (Finance/Order Processing role, tech preferred)
  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units
  • Demonstrated participation in process improvement initiatives and/or project management experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce is required
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Quote to Cash life cycle and understanding of SaaS (Software as a Service) pricing and licensing model a plus
  • Experience with Zuora is a plus
  • Ability to work without supervision in a fast-paced high-tech environment
  • Experience with NetSuite and subscription accounting software a plus
  • Experience in software revenue recognition accounting a plus
  • Experience in structuring multi-element (subscriptions, services and support) contracts
  • Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or a similar discipline
