About the Role

OpenMarket is looking for a commercially focused, results-orientated Account Lead. OpenMarket is looking for a talented Enterprise Account Leader to lead an expanding team of impressive Account Managers based out of our Seattle and Southfield offices.

You will grow, lead and mentor the team and develop the go-to-market strategy to maximize OpenMarket's engagement with each Account Managers book of business. You will enjoy leading a team that develops and grow some of the world's largest and most complex organizations.

As a leader, you will be a valuable cross-functional contributor to the North America go-to-market strategy. You will work closely with peers across the OpenMarket leadership team and report to the Sales Lead in North America.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead a high performing group of Account Managers who are based in the United States. Ownership and responsibility for the revenue goals from existing customers within the territory. Ensuring growth, minimize churn, and profitably upsell while cross-selling new use cases into existing accounts.
  • Report on account activities, drive best practices and coach the team on strategies to reach their goals through well-defined processes.
  • Support ongoing growth and development, including recruiting, hiring, training, and mentoring. Work with your team to discuss, account planning and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Meet revenue quotas and achieve key performance metrics and goals related to pipeline creation and meaningful customer engagement. Participate in customer meetings and help define a strong business case for OpenMarket.
  • Partner with Customer Success and other cross-functional teams to drive success and prioritize where OpenMarket invests its resources.
  • Working with OpenMarket's product teams, roll out new products, pricing, and services across the assigned territory seeking and helping to specify new developments as necessary.

What to Bring

  • 7+ years of Sales experience (3 of those years in Enterprise sales), preferably within an Enterprise SaaS organization.
  • 2+ years of large account management first-line leadership experience.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Experience in managing, building, and developing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent coaching, writing, discovery, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable and willing to be a hands-on contributor and meet with customers as needed.
  • Ability to partner with marketing and other business units to drive awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their quantitative implications.
  • Passion for technology and communications, well-versed in the latest trends.

  • Experienced in driving organizational rigor.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated.
  • Telecom, Application-to-Person (A2P) Messaging, SaaS experience.

Education/Training

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • MBA desired.
