The Partner team at Icertis is responsible for working with partners to build major partner alliances at the field level, drive revenue, grow market share and help increase deployment in our enterprise and upper mid-market accounts. This Business Development Manager/Director role is critical to working closely with the ISV partners and enterprise field sales teams. Icertis is searching for a high performing individual to play in driving our partner sales process.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry a sales quota for co-sales with leading independent software vendor (ISV) partners
  • Develop key relationship at ISV partners across sales, customer success and solution engineers, and senior leadership
  • Develop strategic account and opportunity targets, working closely with Icertis Sales, inside sales reps, and Customer Advocacy teams to drive partner engagement co-sales
  • Develop and drive lead-generating and field marketing programs and activities by working closely with Icertis marketing and partner marketing
  • Responsible for programs to drive mindshare among targeted personas within ISV partners
  • Drive activations to educate partner AEs, SEs, and VPs to easily understand and articulate the Icertis value proposition to joint prospects and customers
  • Contribute to and participate in regular partner business reviews with partner executives
  • Responsible for partner win objectives in terms of revenue, relationship management and net new customer acquisition
  • Identify joint business development opportunities and appropriately leverage internal Icertis resources and partner sales community

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Outstanding track record in business development, with strong selling skills
  • Minimum 5+ years demonstrated success in partner sales/ management in enterprise software and business development
  • Proven ability to structure proposals and build joint business plans with partners and or enterprise sales teams
  • Knowledge of enterprise software apps, SaaS and cloud computing
  • Knowledge of enterprise SaaS ecosystem from an ISV perspective is a must
  • Strong program and project management skills, ability to direct cross-functional processes and teams
  • Proven ability to open doors, network and forge relationships
  • Excellent listening, communication, presentation, problem solving, and time management skills with a record of sound business logic
  • Enthusiasm, energy, creativity and drive. Proven self-starter, comfortable working in a very independent manner. Aligned to values of Fairness, Openness, Respect, Teamwork, Execution
  • Technical or business undergraduate degree required or equivalent experience
