The Business Development Director (Systems Integrators) is a key member of Ekata’s Partnerships and Business Development team and is responsible for executing on a key initiative of our global partnership strategy. This role is focused on growing revenue through our reseller and referral partner programs, specifically our programs targeted at Systems Integrators and Technology Consulting firms. Ekata partners with the leading technology providers, fraud and risk software platforms, and systems integrators globally to provide best in class tools and superior customer outcomes. If you have experience developing winning partnerships with the likes of Accenture, Deloitte, and PwC, then this role might be for you. This role is for an experienced hire only and one that requires direct experience with these companies or similar.   

In the Business Development Director (Systems Integrators) role, you will:

  • Lead our efforts in developing and managing partnerships with a select portfolio of global systems integrators and technology consulting firms
  • Grow indirect revenue by maximizing potential within key partnerships and open new opportunities via business development efforts
  • Develop and manage partner communication, maintaining a high level of transparency and accountability up and down partner organizations
  • Work effectively with senior business executives to develop and exceed mutually established revenue and growth goals
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams for program planning and execution - creating strategies across developing and established partnerships
  • Use data to drive program innovation, actively making recommendations to key partners and internal stakeholders
  • Lead partner training efforts to ensure proper information dissemination and awareness throughout relevant partner organizations
  • Work closely with partners and teams to define and document process workflows, ensuring proper implementation and optimal end-customer experience
  • Build and maintain extensive documentation on processes, workflows, and communication standards/requirements. This includes assisting marketing in the creation of sales collateral and internal process documentation
  • Establish Ekata as the Global Partner of Choice for identity verification data with the top tier technology consulting companies globally.

The ideal Business Development Director-Systems Integrators will have:

  • 7+ years in partner management, business development and/or channel management, specifically owning programs aimed at global systems integrators and technology consulting firms.
  • Experience developing Tier 1 partnerships from scratch and growing them into maturity
  • History of executing complex business transactions that result in mutually beneficial outcomes and scalable partnerships
  • Technical competency sufficient to communicate and work with experts in the fields of technology, data science, and business process optimization
  • Strong presentation, sales, and relationship management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA strongly preferred
  • Candidates with a verifiable record working for or developing partnerships with Accenture, Deloitte, Capgemini, IBM and similar will be preferred.
  • Candidates with financial services, eCommerce or payments experience strongly preferred.
