Icertis is rapidly growing and scaling its global business. We are investing in building a highly strategic Revenue Operations function to support our global growth and we are looking for a dynamic, high-impact leader to take our Demand and Revenue analysis to the next level.

 

As the Director of Corporate Development, you will play a critical leadership role working closely with the company’s Product, Sales and Executive Leadership teams to develop and execute a corporate development strategy that shapes the growth trajectory of the Company. Your insights and work will have a significant impact on the Company’s long-term strategy.

 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record of driving business outcomes through keen financial insight, business modeling and transaction experience. Success in this role requires the ability to formulate a clear and detailed “Analytical Picture” of our market opportunity, our target customers and partners, our product, and our go-to-market capabilities and opportunities. The company places a premium on being a team collaborator, communicator, and proven consensus-builder. Candidates will ideally draw from multiple experiences in investment banking, consulting and business roles to drive business results. Successful execution in this role could evolve into a line management opportunity.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with senior leaders in the organization to develop a comprehensive corporate development strategy tied to growth objectives and key business outcomes
  • Work with product, marketing and sales to identify market opportunities that can be optimally addressed through partnerships and acquisitions
  • Develop and maintain a clear and detailed picture of the Market and our position through a deep understanding of our products, customers, and partners
  • Drive the Company’s acquisition process from targeting to integration.
  • Formulate and publish frequent “point-of-view” perspectives on the competitive landscape

Requirements

  • 10-14 years of experience of working in direct strategic analysis support and operations for Enterprise Sales and Marketing.
  • Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture or equivalent experience preferred. Line / Enterprise Product experience is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in building business cases (with supporting analysis/models) that drive insight and influence outcomes and decisions: this is a hands-on role that requires a deep connection to the business
  • Must have exceptional written, visual, and spoken communication skills
  • Experience in preparing and delivering executive, board and investor level communications
