The job: 

To date, FlyHomes has focused its efforts on changing the way people buy homes, quickly becoming the number one buyers-broker in the Seattle marketplace. As the Director of New Marketplace Launch, you will be responsible for launching FlyHomes in new marketplaces across the U.S. Although this role will be based out of our Seattle HQ, this key Leadership role will spend time in each new marketplace, building and developing a team, client base, and ensuring the new office is set up for success.

You will not only be on the front line of changing an industry, as the Director of New Marketplace Launch, you will be the responsible for our future success. Your role will be to launch, manage and expand FlyHomes real estate listing capabilities, build out an entirely new teams and client bases for the company, and define the future of real estate for the new marketplaces. Roles & responsibilities:

  • Build out FlyHomes’ strategy for buying homes in new marketplaces.
  • Build out a new office space, being the project manager on all things needed.
  • Temporarily act as the General Manager for new marketplace, hiring and bringing the new local team up to speed on business and organization priorities, client service expectations, and company culture.
  • Hire, train, and develop a local FlyHomes team, dedicated to operational excellence, ensuring that the culture and client experience is the same in all marketplaces.
  • Establish operational, business, and client-focused activities that allow the marketplace to aggressively scale.
  • Identify and solve problems on behalf of our team members, clients and the company.
  • Build out repeatable and scalable buying capabilities.
  • Work with the FlyHomes operations and marketing teams to drive awareness of our buying capabilities
  • Uncover new-to-industry ideas and work with leadership to define new programs

  • Unparalleled business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly establish priorities and develop a strategy to pursue them
