Job Description
The Director of Sales Development is instrumental for driving new opportunities into our sales pipeline as well as building our sales talent pipeline. This position requires someone with strong leadership skills who can develop the team to reach their goals and meet company targets.
What you will be doing...
- Lead, inspire, manage and develop the SDR management team to maximize their potential and professional growth.
- Create activity and performance targets and a reporting / monitoring structure that drives accountability across the team.
- Actively participate in call coaching and helping managers to improve their coaching skills.
- Build a team culture focused on achieving and exceeding results and overcoming challenges.
- Work with the Marketing department on the design and execution of successful demand generation campaigns.
- Work closely with our Sales Enablement team to ensure new hires are on boarded successfully.
- Growing the SDR skillset to prepare them for their next role in the organization.
- Deliver quarterly business reviews by tracking results and measuring success.
Qualifications
The ideal individual for this opportunity brings the following to the table:
- Consistent track record of leading SDR teams to achieve company and individual targets
- Excellent coaching skills
- Strong desire and understanding of how to develop people in a supportive, accountable environment and inspire them to perform at levels higher than they envisioned they could achieve
TheRequirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of leadership experience scaling, managing, coaching and training a B2B inside sales leadership team focused on outbound prospecting
- Experience working in a fast paced sales environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Outreach experience is a plus
