About the Team

The Sales team at Subsplash focuses on client relationship development, company revenue, growth, and understanding the needs of our clients. We strive to be innovative, enthusiastic, and driven to help our clients reach their goals. The Sales Team is a high-energy, Friday think-tanking, relationship-based, enthusiastic team with clear goals and incentives linked to team and company success. About the Role

As the Director of Sales, you will report to the Vice President of Business Development. The Director role is focused on hitting goals, helping the sales team strategically win new business, improve performance, report accurately, and scale effectively. Daily duties will include one on one management of Sales Managers, team trainings, metrics reporting, and working toward continually improving performance, operations, and tactics. You will report to and work alongside the VP of Business Development to grow revenue and develop the team. As the Director of Sales, you will also be responsible for helping to scale the growth of individual Account Executives and teams in new satellite offices and remote locations.

Top 3 Outcomes Year 1:

  • Improve the individual performance of the sales team by 10%
  • Ensure Sales goals are tracked properly and reported on weekly
  • Create and innovate upon scalable processes to drive strategic growth in remote and satellite locations

Your Priorities

  • Direct one on one management of Sales Managers
  • Planning and schedule team trainings and skills development
  • Weekly KPI reporting on critical Sales metrics
  • Ensure sales teams are unified and reflect Subsplash values and culture across all regions
  • Collaboration with the Vice President of Business Development to continually explore opportunities to improve sales process, performance and efficiencies. 
  • Collaborate on key opportunities to win business
  • Continually review and align sales compensation with the right incentives and goals
  • Improve hygiene of sales professionals for accurate tracking of data

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SaaS sales experience
  • 5+ years of direct sales management experience
  • 10+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Proven record in inside sales
  • Experience managing teams in multiple regions and time zones
  • Experience scaling sales team growth
  • Motivation for sales and commitment to team mission
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the technology industry and core market
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • College Degree

This position is classified as Full-time/Exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime pay. Core office hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm Mon-Fri.
