District Sales Manager

Igneous created a new approach to Unstructured Data Management to overcome the modern challenges of file and object data at multi-petabyte scale. Deployable onsite, offsite, in any cloud, and for any protocol - our fully-managed services allow anyone to discover, protect, and move of data at blazing speeds. Data-centric organizations rely on Igneous data management as a service to enable solutions ranging from curing cancer to streaming media.

This individual will lead and inspire a team of Enterprise Account Executives and must be passionate and a proactive visionary in driving growth for the organization.  The District Manager is critical to the ongoing success of Igneous’s market leading Unstructured Data Management As-a-Service platform.  Work with other executives in the Channel and pre-sales System Engineer Teams to aggressively grow our market share.

 

As a DM at Igneous, you will:

  • Be responsible for leading a team of Account Managers to drive profitable revenue growth and achievement of monthly goals.
  • Engage with end users, willingness to be hands-on and close the deal when needed too.
  • Support our RSM’s in their sales effort to reach and close Enterprise accounts.
  • Be able to highly motivate the sales team and create a successful track record.
  • The ability to travel within your region as needed.
  • Maintain key customer relationships.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts on your Team and region.
  • Partner with the Channel and Systems Engineer Leadership to develop an effective sales strategy.
  • Recruit and hire additional Account Executives as needs arise.
  • Work with Executives to set territories/quotas for the sales team and work with the team to meet and exceed these expectations.

 

Our ideal AVP will have:

  • Strong background in Data Protection (unstructured data).
  • Experience working in the storage environment and Cloud technologies.
  • Having worked with SaaS products (or similar “as-a-service” product to sell) highly desirable.
  • 10+ years of demonstrated success selling solutions (storage/software) within a given geography.
  • Understands and has worked with Data driven analytics.
  • Demonstrated track record of recruiting, coaching, managing a team of Sales professionals.
  • Strategic Enterprise sales experience and revenue achievement.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to establish trust with customers.
  • BA or BS Degree.
