Our Leadership Operations team is deeply committed to empowering and enabling Karat through the strategic and tactical support of its growing Leadership Team. As a core point of contact among executives, employees, and clients and partners, we ensure information flow is accurate, timely, and valuable.

What you will do

As an Executive Business Partner at Karat, you will be a thought partner to the executive(s) you support, aligning with their goals and priorities to further enable efficiency and execution, and positively impact the growth and expansion of the organization. As both a strategic and administrative partner, you will manage a wide variety of both high-engagement and tactical responsibilities regularly.

Karat’s HQ is based in Seattle, Washington, but we are open to remote U.S.-based candidates for this role. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • Arrange time against priorities and goals according to the organization and leadership team objectives.
  • Manage calendars end-to-end, using flexibility and foresight to orchestrate successful meetings.
  • Be a strategic partner and advocate in a variety of forms, such as: the executive's time allocation and work/life balance, calendar management, travel coordination, and more.
  • Plan and execute internal and external meetings with sound business judgment.
  • Prepare expense reports.
  • Communicate with minimal guidance on behalf of the executive; ensure timely communications with airtight confidentiality.
  • Serve as a liaison across teams within the company; help ensure alignment and communication between executives and employees/clients/other partners.
  • Provide an extra layer of transparency on pending projects for follow-up and execution; identify potential issues for escalation.
  • Manage additional projects and organizational priorities for the business as needed.

The experience you will bring

  • 4+ years providing direct administrative and partnership support to seasoned executives with varying personalities and work styles
  • Experience supporting go-to-market executives (e.g. sales, marketing, and/or customer success)
  • Collaborative, driven, flexible approach and workstyle
  • Proven success in being adaptable and resourceful in a dynamic environment; start-up experience a plus
  • Strong communicator (verbal and written) who feels comfort in multi-tasking a wide variety of priorities at once
  • Detail-oriented with strong listening & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate autonomously and self-starting partner; has successfully managed projects to completion
  • History exercising discretion and independent judgment with positive ROI
