Duties and Responsibilities

  • Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly renewal and pipeline targets.
  • Build and maintain an upbeat positive culture that inspires a sense of urgency, constant innovation & learning, and a strong sense of individual and team accountability.
  • Work closely with the Area Vice Presidents (AVPs) on deal strategy and coordinated selling motions.
  • Work cross-functionally to achieve operational excellence for maximum sales productivity.
  • Oversee a team of regionally assigned Inside Sales Account.
  • Training of new employees and facilitate improvement of all team members.
  • Drive operational excellence of renewal process.
  • Drive strategy to drive opportunities further in the sales cycle, up to and including on-time renewal closure.
  • Review and advise on discounting proposals before escalation to senior management.
  • Troubleshoot problems/questions regarding internal policies before escalation to senior management.
  • Responsible for gathering and accurately forecasting teams weekly and quarterly results.
  • Manage team time and effectiveness.
  • Review work of Inside Sales Account Managers to determine areas of improvement and identify new best practices.
  • Provide Subject Matter expertise for assigned projects to enhance sales objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in quota carrying renewals or inside sales management within the technology industry and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience in a SaaS, technology, or a high growth startup environment
  • Experience accurately forecasting and achieving revenue targets.
  • Thorough understanding of top of funnel and middle-of-the-funnel concepts, strategy, and tactics
  • Experience with SalesForce.com reporting and dashboards
  • Advanced people management skills.
  • Excellent communications skills including the ability to listen to customer’s needs, comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present findings and recommendations in both oral and written presentations to all levels of the organization
  • Highly effective organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with a multi-tiered channel sales environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel. Tableau reporting a plus.
  • Understanding of IT and business analytics (experience in related technical field will be considered – training provided, fast learning and ultimate mastery of technology is a must)
