As an Inside Sales Representative at Tempered Networks, your primary responsibilities will be to generate sales pipeline, develop opportunities by evangelizing and presenting the Tempered Networks solution, work closely with Marketing to develop and execute campaigns, and support a field-based sales team from HQ. 

Ideal candidates will have professional selling experience in a high-tech, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic prospecting within an assigned geographic territory to introduce them to Tempered Networks’ solution
  • Develop and execute on a comprehensive plan to build business within your territory which will include target accounts, focus partners, and marketing campaigns
  • Research prospective account organizational structures, to identify decision makers & influencers, etc.
  • Generate and follow-up on leads for new business opportunities
  • Meet or exceed opportunity/appointment targets as they support overall pipeline goals
  • Track relevant qualification and lead management activity in Salesforce.com
  • Work with Tempered Networks Regional Sales team and Channel Partners to arrange client sales meetings
  • Attend trade shows and other sales and marketing events
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS is preferred
  • 2+years’ professional sales experience
  • 2+ years’ experience selling networking and/or cybersecurity solutions
  • Professionalism projected over the phone and among peers
  • Experience working in team-based selling environment.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com
  • Proven track record of success
