We are experiencing triple-digit YOY growth and are hiring a self-motivated and driven Junior Associate to join our Investment team. As a member of our sales team, you will have the opportunity to be hands on in helping Lighter Capital seek and qualify potential new business opportunities. This will be a great opportunity for you to kickstart your sales career within a quickly growing startup!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• As a Junior Associate on the Investment team, you will work closely with various members of the team, including Directors & Associates
• Opportunity to engage with entrepreneurs at a high level in the early stages of the funding process
• Contribute to the success of the Investment Team by completing projects and preparing reports based on research and analysis
• Maintain relationships with prospective clients and schedule touchpoints with database accounts for Investment team Directors and Associates
• Utilize Salesforce to manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities in accordance with KPIs
• Enhance and maintain the data integrity of Lighter Capital’s database
  

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or aptitude
• 1+ years of sales experience is a plus, but recent graduates are encouraged to apply!
• Relationship-oriented with an ability to build trust quickly over the phone and through email
• Passionate about startups with a genuine desire to understand the industry and help entrepreneurs successfully grow their business.
• Ability to identify and solve problems independently 
• Self awareness of time management with the ability to set and meet hard deadlines 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Excel & Salesforce is a plus
