We are looking for a Lead Solutions Engineer to manage and lead the Solutions Engineering team. This includes managing TUNE’s pre-sales and post-sales engineers and providing deep technical assistance and leadership for our TUNE Partner Marketing product. You'll act as a consulting Solutions Engineer for some of our marquee clients: applying a deep understanding of their business needs and our products to design and build the best fit solutions to solve client needs and help them make use of our products. You will be supporting multiple sales processes simultaneously in addition to your project work. Strong spoken and written communication skills are highly desired.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing the Solutions Engineering team. This includes coaching talent and providing both pre-sales and post-sales engineers with technical and career oversight
  • Keeping the team organized from a scope, priority and timing perspective
  • Working with the TUNE sales and customer success teams to contribute to sales and retention efforts, as well as mentoring team members to contribute to sales conversations.
  • Assisting with building technical pitch decks and creating custom features. Performing these duties yourself and assisting your team with this activity.
  • Prototyping, and writing production-ready code on top of the TUNE Application/API
  • Completing RFPs
  • Specifying on-boarding packages
  • Assisting account managers and sales executives with client questions
  • Leading sales and on-boarding calls
  • Driving alignment with sales and engineering teams on customers goals
  • Designing and implementing custom solutions for client issues
  • Designing and implementing Integrations to help grow the TUNE ecosystem

What You’ll Need:

  • 8-10 years of experience with 1-3 years of experience leading teams both from a technical perspective and also coaching and mentoring teams
  • Experience managing team’s work. Helping them organize their work into actionable stories, plan, execute and help them make effective trade-0ff decisions
  • Experience with performance/affiliate marketing
  • Experience selling products and services
  • Passion for solving business problems through technology
  • Experience in speaking with clients both on calls and in person
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar or equivalent experience
  • Experience with building production-deployed software systems
  • Experience with cloud-hosting providers such as Amazon Web Services, as well as deployment and productionization systems like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Datadog, or other equivalent tools.
  • Experience with two or more of Javascript, PHP, Python, Golang, C/C++, or SQL
  • Experience working in a Unix environment
  • Strong written and spoken English (Additional Foreign Languages - advantage)
  • Additional Programming Languages - advantage
  • Experience with JIRA and Salesforce - advantage
