Partner Development Director - Seattle

What you’ll do

The Partner Development Director is an entrepreneurial sales executive who is passionate about driving business results, growing share and delivering strong value to partners and channels. You are equally excited about learning and teaching. You will manage a portfolio of Resellers and MSPs building strategic relationships that deliver long term business growth, adoption and loyalty. 

  • You will build long terms relationships with a portfolio of strategic partners to consistently deliver strong sales results and partner loyalty.
  • You will identify, develop and effectively manage a pipeline of partners and opportunities.
  • You have account planning and forecast accuracy to deliver against business goals and close loyalty agreements.
  • You can identify and solve for business development opportunities, while assisting partners in winning new business and developing their cloud practice
  • You act as a trusted, consultative voice that makes valuable contributions to each partner and able to influence business & technical decision markers
  • You educate and enable partners across the SkyKick platform, champion the training requirements of our partners, and work closely with internal teams to guide the direction of future offerings
  • You evangelise SkyKick to the channel and reinforce the strength of our brand
  • Speak at industry events and present on webinars.
  • You have the leadership skills to continually improve on the success of SkyKick in the region.

Who you are:

  • You are an agile and reliable teammate with strong sales, business and communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation. 
  • You can influence C-level and sales/marketing executives, technology decision-makers, and front-line engineers. 
  • You are results driven, trust worthy and eager to learn. 

The expertise you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in partner management or business development roles in the software/technology industry.
  • Leadership and successful execution experience in building and growing a Cloud MSP practice and recurring service models.
  • Experience working with Benelux IT companies, familiar with cloud business models and emerging software channel trends.
  • Experience solutions selling, and delivering solutions and services based upon Microsoft cloud technology is preferred.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Marketing, Sales or related field from a strong undergraduate program.
  • You are fluent in English and French.
  • Ability to travel throughout Eastern Canada is required.
