We work on challenging transformational, consultative and technical projects such as building business cases, change management, application redevelopments, data center migrations, data analytics, IOT and digital estates. This is not your average company; we keep our feet on the ground and our heads in the cloud.

This is a unique opportunity for a business minded technologist with a deep knowledge in cloud technologies. As a Pre-Sales Engineer, your primary role is to be a tech-savvy Cloud evangelist and a trusted advisor for our customers, to provide a unified customer experience. You will be a member of the Cloudreach Commercial Operations team and expected to be able to contribute to the wider business beyond your functional role.

You will be working in the following areas (and more!):

  • Technical pre-sales and deal creation. You’ll be engaging in technical pre-sales activities, from presenting and scoping to proposal writing and legal document creation.
  • Commercial awareness. You will be working very closely with the commercial team growing our business by identifying and influencing new opportunities within your assigned accounts.
  • Customer experience. You will be the liaison between commercial operations and delivery stakeholders to ensure our clients have a seamless experience from first meeting to service delivery.
  • Partner relationships. You will help foster our very strong links to our partners (AWS, Microsoft, Salesforce, etc) from a technical perspective, in your assigned accounts.
  • Getting things done. Through your hard work you will ensure all the effort that goes into a proposal turns into actual business and customer satisfaction.

What do we look for?

  • Attitude, energy and enthusiasm.
  • Ideally 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales related role.
  • MUST HAVE STRONG understanding, knowledge, and experience with Public Cloud Platforms AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Flexibility to travel up to 80% while the team scales (will eventually become more localized).
  • You have a deep understanding of technology and the ability to propose and articulate great technical solutions, whatever the challenge. You are eager to continue to learn new skills and technologies.
  • You have the ability to build long lasting relationships with C-level individuals within your assigned customers and partners.
  • You have a strong eye for detail, and are persistent (and consistent!) in achieving what you set out to achieve.
  • You have a customer-centric and consultative approach to assess client’s needs. You can transform those requirements into well articulated and compelling proposals.
  • You get cloud computing, and know how it is changing the way applications, services and businesses themselves are run.
  • Solid understanding of company finances and managing a budget as well as meeting revenue targets.
  • You will be expert at articulating and architecting Enterprise system solutions covering messaging and collaboration, data analytics, storage and more.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.
