This is a great opportunity to be one of the first sales hires in a fast growing company and be a critical driver in prospecting and filling the sales funnel.

 

 

You will be responsible for managing deal cycles from generation to close; high-volume outbound prospecting, targeting key decision makers; and managing a steady funnel of inbound leads.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Own prospecting & drive top-of-funnel outreach across a variety of channels
  • Build and maintain sales pipeline on an ongoing basis
  • Guide prospects through the sales funnel and understand their requirements on employee benefits
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date account, information in the CRM (Hubspot) for all contacts 
  • Develop and test outreach strategies to generate meetings with the Ideal Customer Account
  • Establish and grow strong customer relationships and network leads
  • Gather Voice of the Customer feedback and contribute to the improvement of sales collateral 
  • Quickly gain deep knowledge of a complex product and begin taking discovery calls within the first 3 months of the role

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ year(s) experience in B2B sales, preferably at a tech company
  • 2 - 4 years total professional experience
  • Strong understanding of how to conduct outbound prospecting with or without a dedicated territory
  • Outgoing people-person, committed to conducting heavy outbound prospecting throughout the evolution of the role
  • Experience with Sales Engagement tools: SalesLoft, Hubspot, Outreach, etc.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace
  • Experience prospecting in relevant portals (LinkedIn, Crunchbase, etc)

 

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a startup or other fast-paced, ‘bootstrap’ environment 
  • Experience with CRM software (Hubspot, Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with healthcare and/or insurance products
  • Can handle objections
