Position Summary: 

We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our growing and active demand generation and sales team. In this role, you will speak with inbound prospects, foster communication with potential clients, and make targeted, outbound efforts to engage with key prospect accounts. The Sales Development Representative engages and qualifies prospective customers through specific, targeted questions regarding their business needs, consulting on Shiftboard’s products and evaluating the potential fit for partnership. This is an inside sales role, where the majority of one’s time will be on the phone.

This position is an individual contributor and reports to the Director of Sales. 

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to key prospect accounts
  • Engage with those who have expressed interest in learning more about Shiftboard
  • Discern potential for purchase and partner with Account Executives to progress the conversation
  • Schedule appointments between prospects and Account Executives
  • Maintain accurate information in CRM

Required Experience:

  • Professional vocal skills: courteous, collaborative, creative, well-spoken, pleasing vocal tone, and polished in asking questions and sharing information
  • Competent in multi-tasking
  • Able to connect business needs to high impact solutions
  • Bachelor's degree required
