Job Description

What We Do: The Sales Enablement team is focused on working cross functionally to provide the Sales team the right content, training and mentorship they need to hone their skillsets and effectively engage their buyers. We work with our newest team members as well as our most tenured Account Executives. When new team members arrive, we are here to help them build a foundational knowledge of PayScale, our product offerings, and our buyers.

What You Do: You will be the authority on Sales Process, Sales Methodology, Sales Tools, and Storytelling from the lens of our customers. You will quarterback the Sales Onboarding & New Hire Training Program to drive quicker and more consistent ramp times. You will run point on sales readiness programs that will be tied to specific sales objectives, and work cross functionally to make sure the sales team is receiving the information they need, when they need it.

Day-in-the-Life: As a Sales Enablement Manager, a typical day may include the following…

  • Spend 30-50% leading trainings and coaching sessions
  • Another 30% is spent on program enhancements. Including training content creation and updates, e-learning module development, and creation and evolution of sales readiness toolkits
  • Remainder of the time is dedicated to program effectiveness- measuring how programs are progressing, crafting suggestions for improving the effectiveness of the program, working with internal partners to get consensus on changes and roll out plans

First Year in Role:

  • Month 3: You'll be in full swing with the sales onboarding program: Running a set of trainings, working with other subject matter experts to evolve their content, and track results against goals.
  • Month 6: You're meeting on a regular cadence with sales leadership to share program results, and gain and prioritize feedback on New Hire Onboarding. Collaborate with internal teams to roll out changes, and capture results.
  • Month 12: You're taking on additional sales readiness programs and working with the broader sales leadership team to implement changes. You regularly gather feedback, review results and share out suggestions for future state. You'll continue to find ways to evolve onboarding to drive a consistent and quick ramp time for our newest team members.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 3-5 Years of Experience in a Sales or Sales Enablement function

Skills:

  • A performance and results focused mindset
  •  Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Polished presentation skills
  • Great teammate who can be flexible as the needs of the Sales Organization change
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills

Cami has deep compensation knowledge and has spent over 10 years at PayScale in a variety of Sales and Sales Leadership roles.
