About the Role:
The Sales Operations Analyst will work closely with the Sales Leadership Team to provide on-going support and maintenance of our business systems, processes and data. You will provide CRM systems support of SFDC (Salesforce.com), including maintenance of sales representative, reporting, data clean-up, and data auditing with a focus on data integrity and quality. Additionally, the Sales Operations Analyst will provide assistance with sales support/, project coordination, creating and maintaining documentation, accommodating ad-hoc user requests and developing management dashboard reporting.
The Sales Operations Analyst role includes departmental coordination between Sales and Operations, project management and general activities to assist the Sales and Operations management teams.
What You'll Be Doing:

  • Use Salesforce.com as a sales management productivity tool, and champion its use with team members
  • Work collaboratively with the SFDC Admin to recommend workflow automation, process improvement, and drive efficiencies
  • Effectively communicate changes and project manage impact evaluations
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and own the training and development of team members on sales systems and processes
  • Manages the collection, analysis, analysis and distribution of sales-specific data and reporting around key metrics, including forecasting, pipeline growth, and goal attainment, and incentives
  • Manages incentive compensation plan
  • Ensures timely exchange of monthly data, calculates eligibility, reviews and distributes reports and payments, fields inquiries from sales colleagues, and initiates data investigation and communicates resolution
  • Supports territory development and account assignment, based on market analysis
  • Maintains existing sales reports and designs new reports as needed.
  • Supports the sales leadership team in proactively providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end data
  • Participates in the evaluation, selection and implementation of sales support job aids
  • Evaluates third-party solutions for appropriate sales operations functions as needed
  • Assists in managing business operations help desk
  • Develops, documents, and trains on sales operations policies, procedures, and processes
  • Recommend data-driven analytics projects within the Operations team to uncover sales-specific process gaps and inefficiencies
  • Occasional travel to team meetings

 

About You:

  • 3-plus years in a Business Analyst or similar role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Marketing or related degree
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform SalesForce.com administrative functions is a plus
  • Excellent systems skills including Excel & PowerPoint are required
