We value diversity in all dimensions and are always looking for talented people to join our team!Overview:We are looking for a Sales Operations and demand Manager (SOM) for its Sales and Go-To-Market organization, focused on increasing adoption of OctoML's SaaS offerings with enterprise customers. As the SOM at OctoML, you will be a key stakeholder for OctoML's sales leadership as it reaches a growth inflection point and GA launch of its offerings. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting the team's go-to-market strategy by managing sales operations, inside sales, and helping drive demand generation. You thrive as a hands-on self-starter who can navigate a matrix environment and drive business results.You will play a leading role in supporting annual, quarterly, and weekly business reviews, creating and maintaining reporting and metrics. You will work with leadership and field teams worldwide on-demand generation. You'll analyze business trends and make business recommendations to senior management in a fast growth and complex environment. You will also lead the definition of sales support systems and processes to achieve the revenue and market development objectives.You have strong business, financial, and technical skills, sales and marketing expertise, and analytic background, and you can communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical teams.You'll also support territory planning and account alignment, headcount planning, revenue and goals planning, forecasting, quotas, and attainments, using CRM tools for analysis.Key Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Business Partner to Sales Leadership
  • Work with senior sales leadership to support and help define the go-to-market strategy.
  • Work cross-functionally to land and execute priorities.
  • Support the management cadence for the business.
  • Develop routine and ad-hoc analytic reports to senior management regarding business development initiatives, customer segment performance, performance against goals, etc. Ensure reports contribute to business insight and decision-making.
  • Assist Sales Managers in all aspects of evaluating their teams' performance.
  • Identify reporting issues, gaps in processes, and drive timely resolution.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Sales Operations and Demand Generation experience.
  • Experience in multiple organizational functions such as compensation, forecasting.
  • Ability to define, refine and implement sales processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Skills in finance, analysis, and communication.
  • Ability to work effectively across groups.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a high-growth technology company.
  • MBA or another relevant advanced degree.
  • Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, track record of presenting to leadership.
  • Able to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization.
  • Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
